Competency Level Expected:

Participants are expected to be able to use the following equipment independently after the skill training sessions in a safe and competent manner:

  1. Profometer
  2. Rebond Hammer
  3. PUNDIT
  4. Rainbow Indicator for Carbonation
  5. Tell-Tale Gauge
You are expected to be familiar to the use of the following equipment after given more time to read through the Instruction Manual supplied together with the equipment:
  1. Capo-Test
  2. Lok-Test
  3. Water Permeability Tester
  4. RAPID Chloride Tester
  5. Rapid Alkali Tester
Practical:

Participants are organized into 5 groups to facilitate skill training with limited time. Please try to operate each equipment under the supervision of the instructor.

The time allocated for each equipment for a group is approximately 15 minutes. Please move on to the next station according to the time allocated. You still have more time to practice the use of the equipment individually later by requesting the instructor concerned.

Please wear the cap and use the clipboard and ball point pen provided with compliments from the organizers during the practical sessions.

Use the test forms provided to record relevant readings. Submit only one (1) report for each group to the instructor concerned for assessment and feedback during the panel Discussion session. The extra set of Project Guide is provided by the instructor concerned.
