	Select the right kind of probe. For all concrete made with natural aggregate, use silver probes. In those few jobs using lightweight concrete made with synthetic aggregate, use gold probes.
	Open the driver. To open, grasp the handle with one hand and the barrel with the other, twist the handle a quarter turn counterclockwise and pull open, and allow the handle to rest against lower assembly.
	Remove breech plug. Set plug over the extrator post to avoid introducing dirt or moisture into the barrel, and to avoid losing the plug.
