Determining Results on flat surfaces.
Pry the triangular locator template loose, removing the plastic giides from each probe,
and brush the concrete surface clean with the whisk broom.
First, tap the probes lightly with a hammer to be sure they are seated in their holes.
Then, place the triangular gage baseplate over the probes with the three projections on the concrete and secure with knurled spring nuts provided. This is necessary for wall or overhead tests, and also advisable for floor tests.
Then place triangular gage top plate on the probes, making certain that the probes are centered in the counterbore cups on the underside, and that the cups do not touch the knurled spring nuts.
