Be sure that the thumb screw is released on the spring loaded depth gage micrometer and insert the tip through the top plate center hole.
Depress until firm and square to the top plate and lock the thumb screw. |

Read the micrometer gage. Each increment indicates .025 inches. |

Convert the exposed probe reading to psi of the concrete using the table of compressive strength.
Be sure to read from the table corresponding to the power level used to place the probes,
and choose from the column corresponding to the already determined Mohs' value. |
