| 6. Fire Containment Fire containment is to ensure that under fully developed fire conditions the building and its structure will not collapse or become unstable. The fire will be contained with the boundaries provided for this purpose for the duration estimated to represent the degree of hazard. The suitable use of fire doors, dampers and other special building materials and devices to effect compartmentation will serve the purpose. |
