7. External Fire Spread Control

Provisions against external fire spread is to ensure that the possibility of a conflagration due to external fire exposure hazard is reduced and fire spread from one building to another is prevented.

External fire spread control can be achieved by separation, the use of suitable building materials and the installation of drenchers.
