11.3 Fire Action Plan

The fire action plan specifies well defined actions which have to be undertaken when a fire is discovered. For example, the fire brigade need to be informed, the occupants to be led to a place of safety and arrangements need to be made for the control of fire.

If possible it also involves the use of fire fighting equipment to attack the fire before the arrival of fire brigade and also to assist fire fighters to extinguish the fire.
