12. Conclusion

In view of the rampant occurrence of fire in buildings, it is essential to highlight the importance of fire safety in educational buildings which include the hostels and other accommodation in the campus.
The management has to ensure that fire protection systems are properly maintained and that the security officers have to be vigilant and perform their duties to prevent the outbreak of fire and be prepared for emergencies.
